People in Singapore usually hire professional photographers not just for wedding celebrations but for any special occasion. Therefore, wedding photography is on an uptrend. Starting a career in photography, however, is not as easy as buying a camera and start working. It takes a lot of organising and preparation if you want to be triumphant in this field. Craft A Client-Magnet Location

The costly rent charges is the only drawback of the latter option but when talking about professionalism it is a better option because more customers choose professional over hobbyist photographers.

Buy The Right Paraphernalia

Getting hold of the finest equipment isn't essential. In fact, professional wedding photographer just needs to have a photography kit with camera, tripods and lights that works out for him and his requirements. Moreover, a desktop computer or a laptop with software for editing images along with a photo printer is a must as well. However, if you're on a tight budget, have the pictures printed from a printing studio for the mean time.

To start gaining clients, you need to create a portfolio and promote. Hire models, or better yet, ask some friends to be your subjects. Have them dress up in wedding dresses, tuxedoes, traditional attire and take good pictures of them. Treat them as if you are treating a paying customer. Once you have a excellent sized portfolio. You can start uploading them to your website, or print out to show potential clients the quality of your wok. It doesn't matter if your portfolio is smaller compared to other professional photographers, what matters is the quality of the pictures.
