Order Of Hierarchy In Spirituality For The Space Age

By Rebecca Stone

With the growing mind of human beings, all forms of ideas are being brought to life and this is seeing certain traditional concepts like that of religion and God being outdone by these new age beliefs like Spirituality for the Space age. This is the belief that hails from the new age religion that is slowly rising to fame and its views are being shared with the world.

The religion is one that has used belief and ideas from different deities that are more solid and ancient and have a well-defined foundation. Hinduism and Buddhism stand center of this belief and the philosophies western religion are also widely used. This religion claims that human beings are thetans, immortal beings who have forgotten their true nature and the controversies go on and on.

This church holds the idea that most of its teaching is not that different from that of Christianity. To fully understand it, the church has theological presuppositions that have been explained in some sort of hierarchy. First, they explain the concept of God where they teach he takes no one particular form. The practitioners are left to interpret God in whichever manner they may wish.

Then the church explores into the man and attempts to explain that he is not of the timid nature he mimics but he is of a more superior nature which he has long forgotten as a result of the long term conditioning that has been forced upon him. In this case, he is referred to as a thetan and he is a spiritual being who does not have to be a part of the physical universe.

Creation is also ventured in and the believers of Scientology say that the universe did not come to be as a result of being created by one being, but it is a creation of the mind of many thetans who came to an agreement. This then makes the universe a projection of the minds of the thetans and therefore it is a game created in the minds of thetans to escape boredom.

The new age space religion then claims that salvation is an escape created by the enslaved mind of the thetan that has been conditioned over time. To escape this, the church explains techniques that can help the man escape his pitiful state and reach his true self. These techniques are highly conflicted against and they are seen as tools of mind control and are dangerous in nature.

The church also ventures into the concept of death in which case they consider death to be a reward at times to the followers as then it means the man is free to reach his true self and has been freed from the prison of the body. And in other times it is seen as irrelevant.

The last and final category is that of the occult where psychic powers are used to help man reach an out-of-body experience. In this, black magic is seen as the prime core of the religion. For such reasons, religion faces a lot of criticism.
