Easy Tips To Master Godly Wisdom

By Peter Ward

Scriptures say that it is better to be wise than amass earthly possessions. According to this scripture, people with Godly wisdom can conquer any challenge and acquire any possession they desire. This is one of the basic requirements for kings and rulers. While God grants insight and counsel, it takes several exercises on daily basis to master it.

Read the scripture to understand what God desires and demands of men. This word comes straight from the mouth of God. It would therefore be impossible to understand His ways without understanding his words first. You will also get a clue of how he rewards people who are wise and how he expects them to spend their insight.

The company you keep will determine how wise you end up becoming. You should therefore identify the wise people in the society and sit at their feet to learn. Keeping the company of intelligent will add to your astuteness. If your company is that of fools, you can only end up being a fool like them. Getting experienced from these people is considered better than listening or reading materials. It is an opportunity to learn in real time.

God has messengers who should be listened to. God uses these messengers to communicate to people about what is expected. By listening to His messengers, it will be easier to interpret His word and even live up to its expectations. However, you should be cautious with the people you follow. There are imposters masquerading as prophets from God and skewing the message to fit their personal situations and gains. Such fake prophets will only mislead you.

Find time to meditate on the word and messages from God. Meditation is one of the strongest tools used in searching for insight. By meditating, you will understand particular issues better than just listening or watching a person speak. It also helps you to get deeper into the word and therefore make better sense of such a word. You can them apply the insights gotten in your real life.

Tame your appetite and reactions in all circumstances. You will be regarded as wise or otherwise based on how you handle particular situations. If you rush through these situations, the possibility of poor judgment is very high. When you have taken time to understand what is required, your decision or action will be wiser.

You need to be righteous for you to be considered wise. Evil cannot make you wise in any way. Such inconsistency will only lead to problems. The eyes of men will watch your actions and determine whether you are wise. By being righteous, your actions and decisions will show a great deal of wisdom that leads people to beautiful destinations.

The wisdom of God grows with time. The challenges that made a person wise in the seventeenth century have been overcome and new ones emerged. You must therefore keep updating your acumen by reading books, sharing your knowledge and meditating on circumstances as they emerge. Being wise is hard work and a revelation that comes from God.
