An Episcopal Church In Lake Norman NC Strictly Follows The Bible

By Stephanie West

Religion is a great thing. That is due to the fact that it provides an individual with a moral compass. Religion is about morality. When everybody becomes truly religious, the world will become a better place to live. There is no religion that emphasizes the issue of morality more than Christianity. At the core of Christianity, there are the Ten Commandments. The Bible is the most holy and the most moral book that has ever been written. That is why an Episcopal church in Lake Norman NC places a lot of emphasis on Biblical messages.

An Episcopalian believer is guided by the Bible. He always reads the Holy Bible on a daily basis. It is not enough to read Biblical messages. One needs to apply what has been read so that to become a better Christian at the end of the day. The Bible needs to be the light of the believer. It should be his moral compass.

Great men have risen and fall. During the last six thousand years, there has been the rise and fall of many powerful empires including the Roman and the Babylonian empires. These empires have fallen in their splendor but they have left Biblical messages strong and steadfast. The Holy Bible has the Old and the New Testaments. All these testaments are vital.

What is prophesied in the Old Testament is fulfilled in the New. Heaven and earth will pass away but no single prophesy will go without being fulfilled. As a matter of fact, many prophesies have already been fulfilled. Those that have not yet been fulfilled are likely to be fulfilled in the present time period or in the near future.

There are many great Biblical messages that are found between the New Testament Books of Mathew and Revelation. Of course, the book of Revelation marks the culmination of time. It highlights the New Jerusalem, the eternal home of believers. The gospels introduce the issue of baptism. It is important to be baptized so that to start a brand new life.

Righteousness is what is required from every believer. The unrighteous will eventually end up in hell. On the other hand, those who live a righteous and holy life will go to heaven. Paradise is a beautiful place. In heaven, there will be no pain and suffering. It will be total joy, day and night. Actually, believers will rejoice in righteousness.

Along the journey, there will be many challenges, confusions, and distractions for the true Episcopalian. In fact, a real believer will encounter challenges along the way and he can stumble in some cases. Stumbling should not kill the spirit. Instead, it should reenergize a person to commit his fully energies to the faith so that he does not stumble again.

One needs physical food so that he can be able to carry out the physical tasks of life. However, there is also need for spiritual food. That is due to the fact that man cannot live on bread alone. He will also have to nourish his spirit. Spiritual health is just as important as or even more important than physical food.
