WWJD: Something To Ask Yourself

By Betty Meyer

Many people ask themselves what Jesus would do in all kinds of life's difficult situations, but figuring out exactly what the right answer should be is not always the easiest thing in the world. It is easy to feel doubtful and hopeless when one allows him or herself to be caught up in despair, but with enough faith and patience, Jesus can lead anyone down the right path for them to live their best possible life here on Earth. There are so many different ways that a person's life can be benefited when they just ask themselves WWJD.

This is a phrase that first got extremely popular in the United States in the 90s. People started using it in all kinds of different situations and in all kinds of scenarios. It didn't end there though. Soon people all around the world started adopting the phrase because it meant so much to them personally.

The thing that happens inside a person when they ask themselves this question is they raise themselves up to the very standards of God. If there is anything in a person's life that is less than Godliness, it can be cleansed and eliminated with the help of this question. It might not always be easy at first, but it is definitely worth it.

Making bracelets or any other type of wearable thing imaginable is a great way to unite a youth group or any other group of Christians. This can help everyone stay reminded of how to react to life's many difficulties. Having this little reminder visible on you at all times can create some very interesting talking points as well.

Patience is something that is becoming undervalued in this culture, and if more people don't start exercising it, we might be headed for an unpleasant world. One of the things that helped Jesus be so good was his incredible patience. This quality must be shown for all people and creatures, as well as life in general.

When people act impulsively, it leaves them almost no chance to act like God. The normal tendency of people is to react in different emotional ways that are sometimes hurtful to others. Taking a deep breath or two can give a person the time they need to think, cool of, and consider Jesus.

There are times in any person's life when they do or say things they aren't proud of. It is not always obvious when this is happening, though. A person has to take a thorough look at their actions every day to fully allow Christ into their lives.

The effects of fully letting Jesus Christ into your life is unrivaled by any other great feeling. This is the way that people are able to live a life that is fully guided by God. This means that the things that the person can now achieve are virtually unlimited because of the power of God's love, and following God will become easier and easier because of the fact that it is a skill that must be built up.
