Reasons To Go To First Baptist Church Coward

By Sandra Cooper

The place people go to have a way of affecting them either positively or negatively. That is why people are encouraged to mind the places they visit to avoid bringing trouble upon themselves. Baptist Church Coward is one place you are sure to go to and be happy for the rest of your life. Apart from the spiritual benefits which include getting to know the Lord better and being more ready for Heaven, there are other health and social importance attached to the practice.

Going there will keep your feet from being at the wrong places. A young man, for example, will be able to avoid the temptation to go and steal with a fellow if he is in a congregation of God's people at the time when the contact would have been made. Young men who are not sure of their friends should therefore always try to avoid them.

Some people strongly believe that whatever medicine cannot cure can be cured in the church. They believe this so well because they have heard and seen people whose conditions were changed overnight and some also believe because it happened to them. Miracles happen during Holy Communion, Prayers and in praises sessions. These miracles add to the number of years the beneficiaries live on earth.

You can also get encouragement in the church. You can be encouraged either by reading the scriptures or by meeting people who were once in your shoes. You will be surprised at how much strength you will suddenly get to overcome all your challenges.

If you want to get edification, go to the house of God. There, you will hear songs that will lift your spirit as never before. Those songs may not even be new but because they are sung in a place of worship, you may get another rhema of it. It often feels better to sing a worship song in a congregation than in one's private time especially for a new convert. Songs learned in the church are usually used in personal quiet times.

Being a member of the Baptist church is an opportunity to please God by doing His work. Although God prefers obedience to sacrifice, he still values sacrifice and blesses every bit of it. Members who have sacrificed one thing or the other to other members who were in genuine need of something can attest to this fact.

Apart from giving to the poor, members serve God by serving others in the church. Some serve as choristers, some as ushers, and some as stewards. Some are given Bible passages to read, understand and share their benefits to other members of the congregation. So it is actually a place to be blessed and to bless others.

Children learn to be well mannered when taken to the Sunday school in Baptist Churches. They are taught by men and women who share their childhood experiences with them. They combine these teachings with the word of God by reading the Bible which the children learn to be infallible and suitable for correcting and teaching. Thus, parents exercise little efforts in bringing up their children the right way at home.
