Why You Absolutely Must Learn To Let Go

By Evan Sanders

"Don't be afraid to let go. Every new adventure begins with the ending of another." - The Better Man Project

Why do we get so scared when we have to let go of something?

It's because we really don't think that we will find anything better despite how untrue that idea really is.

We believe somewhere deep down that what we had is "it" for us and that we won't be able to find something that replaces what once was.

But when you really look at it, we live in a world full of "one thing ending and another thing replacing it." It's just our minds that keep us stuck always thinking about things that happened in the past. It's our minds that keep us out of living in the present moment.

Maybe it was someone you had to walk away from. But you have to remember, that before that person there was another and most likely another before that.

Understand that someone new will come into your life and heal the wounds that you are carrying. They will soothe your soul in ways that the other person could not.

And if the relationship you get into ends...another will come after that.

And another...

Until one day, someone will come into your life who refuses to walk away from you. They will want you and do anything to keep you. They will prove to you just how much they love you and you will love them right back.

That will be one of the best days of your life.

So until that happens, you have to be willing to work with the pains of the past and taking on life's challenges knowing that they are giving you exactly what you need to succeed in life.

Life gives you exactly what you need vs. what you want.

While these lessons and challenges can be incredibly difficult, they help you grow into a person who can take on life's greatest challenges one step at a time.

By staying completely open to experiencing all of the different colors of life, you will live in the present moment and continue growing.

Instead, you'll continue blooming.

Continue trusting your path.
