How Words Of Encouragement Can Change Our Lives

By Tony Kcorb

Every so often a person is born that has the innate ability to inspire people into action. Recently I stumbled upon a YouTube channel which made me realize that I'd just found one of these people. The funny part is that she is a little girl, and by little I mean young. Her name is Lennon Brock and she is four years old. Here are realizations that I made after watching her videos.

DON'T LET YOUR EMOTIONS CONTROL YOU: Living your life like you're dying means that one should wake up each morning and treat that day as if it were going to be the last day you had left. With this realization you would most certainly not waste any time and you would be eager to do the the things that make you happy. You wouldn't waste the day sleeping or watching television. You would try to work your way down some type of last minute bucket list and do it with eagerness. Acting in this way would certainly have you living in inspired action which is what it is all about.

THE HUMAN SPIRIT IS POWERFUL: Human beings are truly powerful. We have unlimited potential in almost every aspect of life. The only thing that takes away this power is ourselves. If you look at people such as Ghandi, Mother Theresa, and Martin Luther King, you'll begin to realize what the potential of one human being really is. With our thoughts and intentions we can literally move mountains. There is nothing that we can't do provided we believe we can. Realize your true power and your life will unfold in ways that you never thought possible.

CONTROL YOUR EMOTIONS: Your emotions can easily control you if you don't learn how to contain them. Yes, we are emotional creature, but if you don't learn to contain your emotions they will use you. The hardest part of controlling your emotional state is just realizing that you have the power to do so. When something happens and you begin to feel your emotions take over, take some time and breath. Count your breaths back from ten to zero. Also, it is fundamental that your emotions are a direct reflection of what it is your thinking. Begin to monitor and control your thoughts and you'll be well on your way to becoming an expert at containing your emotions.

YESTERDAY DOESN'T MATTER: Stop living in the past. By keeping your attention on what you should have or could have done in the past will most definitely keep you from accomplishing what you want to in the future. It is ok to realize and learn from the mistakes that you may have made in the past, but dwelling on them can be very detrimental to nearly everything you do. Everyone makes mistakes and nobody is perfect. Making peace with your mistakes is crucial to becoming the person you always wanted to become.
