An Overview On The Catholic Issues

By Della Monroe

The wave of modern Christianity has hit the world hard leaving in its wake changes that are hard to ignore. Many churches are increasingly accepting the changes by taking major steps away from the dark ages. Restrictions on sexual relations are some of the catholic issues that many say only a progressive pope will be capable of changing otherwise, the archaic rules will continue to be used to guide the obedient members.

Many men have been ordained into priesthood to serve the lord and lead the flock towards righteousness. However, these numbers continue to decrease at a very high rate forcing some states to have to share. The church has been blamed for this changing statistic by insisting that men abstain from sex while in service. Failure to comply is usually considered a sin.

With all the major achievements experienced by the institution over the years, we would all expect it have way more members than it did when it was started. However, reports have emerged of membership decreasing by the day in the sub branches across the world a move that has been associated with the churches obsession with men and women role in society.

Scandalous reports rock the holy house of God every day but it refuses to acknowledge them instead opting to cover them up in every possible way. Cases of children being raped by priest, women having their children and others being forced to abort have come to light in almost all dioceses. Even with the media ensuring the public know these heinous actions the pope refuses to comment on them.

Priests and fathers are people who opine on issues that affect their flocks so that they encourage them in any way possible even when all hope is lost. When the holy house demands of them to abstain, many knowledgeable citizens believe they are not in a potion to talk on such important issues. One can only offer advice on a topic they are well versed with.

The former pope never wavered when it came to the use of condoms during intercourse. He encouraged his followers to follow the bible which allowed them to procreate. However, this was criticized by many people who viewed this as the major contributor to the high populations in the catholic countries. These people with large families barely survived with the payments that could only cater for food when they could control this by using condoms.

Women have played huge roles in history and serve church just as much as the males do. Consequently, many fail to comprehend the reason for the churches stubbornness when it comes to making them priests or officials in the holy house. Is it that they cannot guide the faithful as well as the men are doing? Other churches have made some of their women leaders in their churches and this is the reason for the decrease in population of Catholics.

Followers today refuse to be fooled by their ordained leaders instead deciding to follow what they believe in. The church has failed terribly to solve the issues that it faces leaving its members confused and misguided. Victims of rape by the holy priests have been denied justice and continue to see the perpetrators of the crimes at the pulpit preaching the word.
