What Prophetic Pastor Opportunities Should Mean To Christian Communities

By Tanisha Berg

After Jesus resurrected from the dead, He asked His disciples to go out to all the nations of the earth and preach the Good News of the Kingdom of God. This is exactly what prophetic pastor opportunities is all about. It is about making sure that the Good news of the Kingdom of God reaches people across the world so that God receives all the glory.

Jesus had the power to condemn sin, but He never did that. There were so many sinners around and the only thing He saw in them was a passion, thirst and hunger for the word of God. He taught of a loving God who loved the world and gave His only one son for the sake of the world. He wanted to save the world from sin and give people everlasting life.

If you are going to preach out there, take your time to plan on how to preach on the message of forgiveness. Instead of telling people they are going to burn in hell fire if they do not accept Jesus, tell them to remember how Christ sacrificed His own life for their sake. Instead of telling people that they are hopeless without Jesus, tell them of how they would enjoy a new relationship with God when they welcome Christ in their lives.

When you go to evangelize, have a gentle heart as Jesus was. Instead of telling people how they will go to hell and burn in eternal fire of they do not accept Jesus, tell them about a loving God who would not want them to perish because of sin. Instead of telling sinners how evil they are go ahead and tell them about how God can change them into better people if they give Christ a chance in their lives.

The great thing about Jesus is that he also asked people to preach the message of forgiveness. Jesus said that of you do not forgive people who wrong against you, the father in heaven would not forgive your sins also. Later in the Bible, the term forgiveness appears so many times and it becomes a great aspect that makes people to live in peace and love each other.

Use the preaching opportunity to tell people about the benefits of forgiveness of sins. Instead of telling them how bad they are because they do not have a forgiving heart, remind them of the love God had and the sacrifice that He made. Instead of making them feel bad about not having forgiven people for their past sins, make them understand that they can still forgive, even if the person who wronged them is beyond reach.

Jesus was indeed a humble servant. Even though He is the son of God, He did everything in Humility and did not take glory for Himself. In everything he did, He gave thanks to God in heave, and even when times were hard for people who were following Him, He would ask them to trust in God.

You have the duty to do the same thing. You need to learn how to give glory back to God after a successful mission in the field. You will be committing a great sin if you take glory back to yourself.
