Attributes Of The Christian Churches In Lake Norman NC

By Richard Lewis

A church cannot be built on the foundation of any one aspect while ignoring the rest. It is by combining all of them that makes it strong. Followers can never confide in doing what God has called them to do and still proclaim the word with passion without sharing it with our neighbors. A mixture of all ages is acceptable just as it is expected in biblical perspective. The churches in Lake Norman NC ought to be holistic and all who claim Jesus as Lord to follow the following characteristics if they aspire to be what they were called to be.

The unbending teaching of gospel. The teachings of the Bible should strictly be true from the clergy to the subjects. Clear explanations are given whenever necessary taking good care not to mislead anyone. Even if the bishop wants to have a great pull of believers into the ministry, they must be keen on the word of the holy book. Overestimation have to be nil when communicating the gospel, and both positive and negative things should be said.

Impacting worship. This does not revolve around style, but mainly the substance behind it. Mostly, the power and passion are what moves people from their comfort zones to gain the desire to praise their God. Neither the best instruments accompanying the music matters most nor the dressing, It is the ultimate devotion that matters. People should aim to please God not their fellows.

Love for God. Our passion will be enthusiastic and influential to our neighbors. Attending the church service just because it is on a Sunday will not bring out an impacting outcome. Practicing what is taught, doing as required of a good Christian and believing in the word will attract others to Christ. This way, there will be a great difference between a believer and a none believer.

Heartfelt prayer. This is among the essential elements in a Christian life. It brings about the sense of reality and urgency of the need to involve God in our affairs because his presence and nearness to us makes us more alive and lively. A church that fails to focus deeper in prayer and does not have it at its bottom line becomes still. True growth would not translate to numbers but also the commitment, frequency and the obedience to Gods service.

Unwavering followers of Christ. The norm for most denominations is baptizing their members as documented in the Bible. Few understand what the rite requires of them, and it is the duty of all Christians to teach and lead them through to the right ways. Going to church whenever it is not due to discipleship, but letting known the word is what brings out the difference on how followers understands the scripture.

Appropriate programming encompassing all services in a church. The order of events is reproduced each time the congregation gathers and also guides new members who may be interested in joining the church. A program is done in an age appropriate way and creates an opportunity for people to have a stake in participation in fellowships and discipleship.

Doubling effect. The joy that comes in having many churches spread out over the cities under the central governance of the main one is enormous. Speaking life, blessings, and favors from the Lord and sharing out faith among people from different environments would be the desire of many denominations despite capacities being the limiting factor.
