Challenges in life are for everyone and come in different forms. As human beings, the challenge is to identify, recognize and find ways to overcome adversities we face. The approach may differ from one person to the other. Even situations and resources will differ. It is the desire to surmount these challenges that will determine our rate of success.

Physical adversaries include injuries or disability on eyes, spine, hands, ears, legs or any other part that stops you from performing normal activities. Recognize and appreciate that such a challenge exists. Take the next step which could include purchase of spectacles to improve your sight, learning sign language for the deaf, buying a wheel chair or hearing aids, among such facilitation enablers. If there are incentives available in form of subsidies, take advantage of them to ease your survival.

Mental challenges are also likely to limit your potential in life. They include situations of depression, autism, stress, hyperactivity and any mental condition that stops you from performing normal duties. Relaxation and avoidance of triggers is one of the recommendations. A visit to a psychologist or psychiatrist is also recommended. Get into a routine and ensure that you are not facing idle time. Exercising will also save you from challenges.

Emotional maturity is one of the determinants of success in life. It enables you to feel situations without letting them to overcome you. You can face the most difficult situation and still maintain your sanity. Learn how to deal with emotions like rage, improve your personal status, forgive and live with people. Talk to a close friend about your emotions or seek counseling for issues that are a bother to you.

Do you have a problem interacting with people? This is a social adversity that can be overcome. It will be impossible to form relationships if interacting with people is a problem to you. Even a promotion at work or increasing your client base will be a problem. Practice how to interact with people and expose yourself to situations that you dread the most. Financial adversaries are likely to affect all other areas. They require real action and a drastic change of lifestyle. Believe that you can do better than you are doing right now. Take a step of learning a skill that will make you employable. Persist in your search for a job and reduce your expenses to the bare minimum. Take advantage of incentives given to people in your situation and build a culture of saving.

Spiritual adversaries are likely to spill to your mental and emotional state. You might also lose on relationships and damage social life in the process. Approach spirituality issues with caution and wisdom. Do not allow it to dominate your life to the point of obsession. Know the boundaries and when they should not be crossed.

Seek help where it is available but remember that you will have to walk the path on your own. It will not be easy to surmount most of these challenges but it is always possible.
