Discover Motor Club Of America Benefits

By Angela Briggs

Motor Club of America benefits are many. However, a person first needs to join the club in order to benefit from what it has to offer. Founded in 1926, Motor Club of America, or MCA, has grown to become a trusted name in the industry. It is now the largest roadside assistance service per member capita. Read on to learn more about the organization and the benefits it offers.

Headquartered in Oklahoma City, MCA derives its membership from the United States as well as Canada. The organization offers road service assistance both day and night, all the days of the week 365 days a year. The staff is always ready to respond to emergency calls and offer the required service whether its car repair, tire change or towing to the nearest service station.

MCA members get huge discounts on holiday rentals, vacations, hotels, car rentals and motels. The organization can also help make travel arrangements for its members, including airline bookings, routing information, maps and hotel reservations at great discounts. Generally, the organization will do anything to make your trip worry-free.

Auto thefts are on the increase, so having protection is important. MCA members have peace of mind knowing that the organization will do everything possible to recover their stolen vehicle. This includes offering a $5,000 reward to anyone who gives information that leads to the recovery of the stolen vehicle and arrest of the thief. This will help to engage the public in search and recovery efforts.

Medical care is very expensive nowadays, and MCA aims to change this. Membership entitles you to 50% discounts on dental care and a 60% discount on prescription drugs and vision care. If you need to undergo Lasik surgery, the organization will cover up to 15% of the cost. As you can see, MCA is very much different from other insurance companies or motor clubs in the US.

MCA cares about the welfare of members. If a member is injured, whether its at home, work or at the park, MCA will forward $500 directly to the member. An additional $150 will be sent to the member every single day for the entire duration of the treatment and recuperation at the medical facility. However, the daily disbursements cannot exceed $54,725. That said, members do not need to worry about healing quickly so that they can get back to work.

When driving on public roads, there is always a chance that you may be involved in an accident. If you are charged with negligent homicide or vehicular manslaughter, MCA will contribute up to $2,000 for legal fees. Members who are covered can also expect to get $1,000 for vehicle damages and accidents.

Now that you know all the Motor Club of America benefits, it is up to you to decide whether or not you want to join. There is, of course, a monthly fee that you must pay to retain your membership and enjoy these benefits. Before you become a member, you should know that MCA is not an insurance company. It is just a club with benefits to members.
