If We Are Going To Be Honest About Self Help

By Evan Sanders

When we let go of what we think we need to be, we give ourselves the room to grow into who we truly could become.

The society we have grown up in has taught us this story that we should be much more than we are comfortable in being.

The stories that are fed to us are absolutely endless. They take root in the relationships we have, the body were supposed to create, the look we are supposed to model and just about everything else in the book.

The are incredibly powerful stories that always tell us one thing - we aren't good enough the way we are.

But the truth is, we all have unbelievable gifts that give us the ability to create something in this world. Unfortunately, those gifts get covered up time and time again by the stories we are all led to believe.

The truth is it's a whole lot easier to be yourself than be someone else.

That may sound counterintuitive, but once you drop all of the nonsense that has been fed to you throughout your entire life you end up being pretty happy with yourself as a person. This doesn't mean that you don't have areas to grow - we all do - but rather it's a strong vote for how unique we all are.

It's in the act of letting go of the old and creating the new that we create everlasting change.

And that everlasting change will help you achieve your goals because you will start to really believe in what you're doing.

Of course you will be challenged. Of course you will have your belief in yourself put up against all sorts of obstacles. But if you truly have faith in what you're doing you will be able to get up time and time again after you fall.

So make sure you do it for yourself and for the sake of the real you.

Appreciate what you have and get started on creating the future.

Believe in where you are and if you want a different future, go ahead and create that.

Dive into it because it's something that you want to do and it's something that will make you incredibly proud. That's a life that you can be happy about.

In the end, if we stay true to our own paths and believe in ourselves, we are truly capable of anything.
