One of the most important factors in fitness motivation is the ambience in which you perform your fitness exercises. The atmosphere of the room or the gym, the colors of the walls, the conditions of the equipment available for fitness training, and even a light music in the background would have a very strong effect on your fitness training program.

If you are doing the exercises at your home, then select the room that gives you the most relaxing feeling. If you are attending a gym for fitness program, then you should not only look at the facilities that the gym has but also other value added services like stress management coaching, nutritional counseling, etc. as additional fitness motivation incentives.

You could reward yourself after completing the workout at the gym by visiting your favorite restaurant and ordering your preferred food item. This or any other reward for attending the gym on the appointed days is a great fitness motivation.

One of the largest online communities for weight loss is 'SparkPeople', having over 8 million members, who work towards weight loss, encouraging each other and achieving their set goals of reducing weight. You would get solid fitness motivation from this site. They have articles, videos, quotes, and success stories on weight loss that would inspire you even on the days that you feel laziest.

You should mentally get into the right mood before you enter the gym. You should think of the friends who would be working out with you and how you would be enjoying the workout and going through the various workout paces. When you start focusing on the exertion that you would be putting yourself into and the appreciation of others, your fitness motivation would increase manifold.

You should be realistic about the time and days that you visit the gym. If you think that you should be at the gym by 5-00 am, you should realize that it would not actually be realistic. Getting up at 4-00 or 4-30 just to go to gym is a definite anti-motivator. Similarly, daily visits to gym are also quite unrealistic. You could workout at the gym for three days a week, which is the only way to maintain fitness motivation.
